Explanation

  • This apparatus consists of a microphone, laser
    source, light detector, amplifier and speaker.
    The purpose is to transmit sound wirelessly.
    The transmitter modulates the laser according
    to the incoming sound signals and conducts the
    light to the detector, which in turn, passes on the
    sound signals to the speaker via the amplifier.
    Thereby, wireless sound transmission takes
    place, and the sound of a speaking person can
    be heard from a speaker 5-15 meters away.
