Explanation

  • This apparatus consists of a flat mirror, a curved
    long metal pipe and a pair of looking holes that
    looks towards the mirror. When looking through
    both holes, it is possible to see only the image
    of the curved metal pipe. The purpose of this
    setup is to move your hand along the pipe by
    looking only at the reflected image of the pipe
    in the mirror. However, because the image
    in the mirror is inverted, the hand-eye-brain
    coordination is difficult to establish – it is more
    difficult to move your hand along the pipe by
    only looking at the reflected image in the mirror.
