The Virtual Image consists of two identical concave parabolic mirrors. When an object is inserted near the centre of the mirror below, (and is close to the other mirror with a hole in the middle), the object appears as if it is in the air and on the mirror with a hole. Since the middle point of a mirror is the focus of another mirror, the object appears as if it is in the air – this is the result of the reflection between the two mirrors.
