Explanation

  • This system consists of a double sided mirror
    inserted vertically in a platform and holding
    arms in the middle of the mirror. Hold the arm
    on the mirror with both hands and look at only
    from one side. The appearing is your one hand
    and its image. As you move your left hand,
    your right hand seems to move in the mirror.
    Therefore, the brain senses your left hand as
    your right hand with the information from your
    eyes. Although our muscles move, due to the
    stationary image in the mirror, our eyes cannot
    sense this motion and have dilemma.
