Explanation

  • When both hands are placed on both plates of
    the apparatus, the sweat layer in the skin acts
    as the fluid in a battery. During this interaction,
    the negative charges are conducted from the
    copper plate towards the aluminum plate. A
    current is formed between the positive and
    negative plates. A setup within the apparatus
    measures this current and displays it on the
    screen. There are three plates – iron, copper
    and aluminum.
