Explanation

  • This equipment demonstrates the theory of
    Archimedes. An object has a lower density
    than the waters contained in its setup. As the
    button of the setup is pressed, air gaps from
    the bubbles are formed, therefore, the density
    of the liquid inside the vessel decreases and
    the object sinks. To increase the colourful
    visual effects produced, the density could be
    adjusted by the amount of air gaps formed.
