Explanation

  • The system consists of partial mirrors and a
    strip of pictures. A strip of pictures is inserted
    on a circular surface. Partial mirrors are placed
    in the middle of this surface. The number
    of pictures on the strip of pictures and the
    nuımber of mirrors in the partial mirror set are
    equal. As the system rotates, the fast motion of
    the reflected pictures creates a moving image
    illusion. Cinema is based on this fundamental
    principle.
